PNGCCS is based in Port Moresby and was established in 2007. The Community Aid Development program of PNGCCS, Life PNG aims to help create a healthy and secure future for the nation of Papua New Guinea through social and community impact & development. Our emphasis is on nurturing the potential of the child and helping to support a strong family unit. The core value of Life PNG is to bring New Hope, New Mindset and New Life to both individuals and families through education & support and by providing opportunities to engage in positive life skills. Life PNG exists to help alleviate negative & destructive behaviour patterns which contribute to poor life choices and unhealthy generational cycles.
No longer can we afford indifference in a society that is failing its youth. With a generation looking for leadership and many children victims of poor choices, counteractive plans must be established as a matter of urgency. The future of this nation will lie in the hands of the next generation . We can become part of the problem or part of the solution!
Who are we? PNG Christian Community Service is a community based registered non-profit, charitable organisation whose primary focus is to nurture, mentor and empower children and youth in PNG who are disadvantaged or vulnerable. |
