Visionaries

Now it is time to impart, mentor and empower the next generation, to take the nation forward - to pass on the baton spiritually and physically. To sow value, dignity & worth into the spirit of a child is to sow radical & lasting change into our homeland.”

Reverend Joseph Yans Lepatu and his wife, Maria, married for over 50 years, parents of six remarkable children and many grandchildren are a family who truly live for the Lord.
Reverend Lepatu has been in ministry for over 50 years, radically saved in his teens through the pioneer work of Pastor Harry Aroa, the first apostolic missionary to PNG. He was supported by Finnish Pentecostal missionaries and then in the early 1970’s by the T.L. Osborne Foundation.
Over 300 Pentecostal churches were planted and pioneered throughout the nation from the ministry founded by Reverend Lepatu. He worked tirelessly alongside local churches which are now established under various banners such as AOG, Four Square and other associated Pentecostal churches.
Reverend Lepatu and Maria are so passionate about the heart and kingdom of God that they have devoted their lives to seeing transformation and freedom through the Spirit of the Lord.

He picks up the poor from the dirt, rescues the wretched who've been thrown out with the trash, seats them among the honoured guests. A place of honour among the brightest and the best. He gives the barren woman a home, so that she becomes a happy mother. Psalm 113:7-9 (NLT)
